Overview:
Company of Folk Director, Bucky Halker, will join Illinois Humanities Program Officer Matt Meacham in a special grant workshop devoted to opportunities in the arts and humanities. Halker will devote particular attention to the Master Apprentice Program of the Illinois Arts Council Agency and grants available to traditional folk and ethnic artists from Illinois. He will also discuss other funding opportunities for artists. Meacham will review the grant program at Illinois Humanities and the funding areas for humanities organizations in the state.
Individuals artists and humanists as well as organizations in the arts and humanities are encouraged to attend.
